Used batteries and rechargeable batteries should not be disposed of in household waste, but should be recycled at special collection points. There, our Battery Shark is waiting for you at a number of locations.

Whether kitchen scales, lamps or remote controls: Batteries are everywhere, making our everyday lives easier. But what do we do with the energy providers once they have served their purpose? In the INOBAT comic strip © INOBAT, 2023, Battery Man explains in a playful way how to dispose of batteries correctly so that they can be recycled and reused as keys, screws or door handles. In addition to these recyclable raw materials, the discarded parts also contain harmful heavy metals, which are removed in the recycling process. Batteries and rechargeable batteries therefore do not belong in the normal waste! For this reason, many local authorities offer the opportunity to dispose of used batteries and rechargeable batteries free of charge at public collection points.

Our Battery Sharks ensure that empty energy providers can be collected quickly and easily.

Too many batteries still end up in the waste stream. This must stop! Take a leaf out of Battery Man’s book and take your batteries to your nearest collection point.
