We’ve always known the Littershark isn’t just a supporting act. And the organisers of ‘Zurich Design Weeks’, which took place in the city by the Limmat from 12 to 29 September 2024, also gave our bestseller the starring role.
In Zurich, great design can be found around every corner – and it’s in those very places that our Littersharks tirelessly do their work.
During the ‘Design Promenade Zürich’ audio walk, visitors of the annual design festival could not only marvel over our famous waste bins but also the ‘Landbank’ and ‘Zürich Bord’ benches, while learning fascinating facts about these everyday design objects (download the app here).
Our iconic bin, with its distinctive 25-degree angled surface, has been keeping Zurich’s streets clean since 2002 and made such an impression that it was even added to the Museum of Design’s prestigious design collection – another accolade for our gem, which has already scooped numerous design awards!
