Forty anthracite-coloured Littersharks are keeping the town of Wangen im Allgäu, Germany, clean – and the local building yard manager, Frank Müller, and his employee, Eugen Prinz, have been raving about our bestseller for hours!

It’s the little things that count. This also applies to the Littershark and its intelligent and well thought-out design. The fact that the latter blends so beautifully into the urban environment – chic, sleek and not overly conspicuous – has also won over Wangen im Allgäu.

In the past, local building yard manager Frank Müller and his employee Eugen Prinz used simple plastic containers to keep the town clean.

Each time the plastic bin had to be washed out after use – a labour-intensive process. Müller and Prinz are more than happy with the switch to 40 Littersharks with ashtrays and in the special anthracite colour customised for Wangen: The few easy steps to empty the sharks, the three-millimetre thick and robust stainless steel, the bevelled head and the fact that the rubbish is never visible from the outside are all features that won over yard worker Eugen Prinz.

“It’s just gone, as if the shark had eaten it,” says a delighted Prinz, full of praise for the Littershark. In fact, the Littersharks have made such an impression in Wangen im Allgäu that they have become part of the grounds of the state garden show currently being held there. And who would be surprised? The Littershark rightly belongs in the limelight.
