Whenever it is sunny, the lakeside promenade in Friedrichshafen is bustling with people enjoying the nice weather. But they also leave behind a considerable amount of trash. In the past, Friedrichshafen had to deal with challenges such as corroded waste containers and laborious vacuuming. But with the new underground system from Littershark, the disposal chute is made of a thicker material, which ensures exceptional durability. And thanks to the round design of the collection container, waste does not get caught anywhere.
Rust is now also a thing of the past. And so is the laborious emptying process – thanks to the new system, the bins only need to be emptied twice a week in summer and just once a week in winter. Due to the resounding success of the solution, the City of Friedrichshafen has ordered even more Littersharks in various sizes from 70 to 220 litres to keep the promenade at Lake Constance clean and tidy.
