A Littershark rarely comes alone, which is why we are delighted to be able to help create a clean environment over a wide geographical area in a large-scale project using our best-selling product. The Austrian towns of Tulln and Zwettl have now joined the likes of Luzern and Affoltern am Albis in turning to the Littershark to take care of their litter disposal needs. The town of Tulln opted to install our litter bins along the banks of the Danube, the deciding factors being the Littershark’s stability and ease of maintenance as well as the additional functionality provided by the ashtray system. The large capacity of the bin and the intelligently designed narrow opening together ensure that the bin needs less frequent emptying, since the previously installed litter bins were often used by local residents to dispose of their household waste. Zwettl was also looking for new waste bins as part of its street renovation project. The planners wanted not only an optimal waste disposal solution but also something that enhanced the appearance of the locality. The town’s decision makers found the polished stainless steel casing of the bins particularly appealing. Zwettl has not only introduced our Littershark, though. The town also decided on our drinking fountains to complement our best-selling product, to give the public recreation area a unified look.
