City Affoltern am Albis – Littersharks

With more than 12,000 inhabitants, a high volume of waste is generated in a town centre as well as at other highly frequented locations. The town of Affoltern has been benefiting from the Littershark since 2007. The town primarily uses the 150-litre Littershark, fitted with an ashtray and a dog-waste bag dispenser. Having been impressed by the quality and durability of their chrome-steel Littersharks, the town later introduced our 3-seater and 4-seater Solid Benches. Whether you are in the town centre or on the edge of the forest, in Affoltern you can dispose of waste in a Littershark or grab a dog-waste bag for when you need one. Littersharks should be cleaned once a year to ensure that the town maintains its well-kept appearance. Cleaning is carried out by our cleaning team.

Stable and tenacious. Since the beginning of the shark season in Affoltern, only two of the hundred litter sharks have been victims of mechanical force majeure. One litter shark was buried by a falling fir tree during the storm and the other could not withstand a violent encounter with a car.

Standfest und hartnäckig. Seit Beginn der Hai-Zeit in Affoltern wurden lediglich zwei der hundert Abfallhaie Opfer mechanisch höherer Gewalt. Ein Abfallhai wurde von einer umfallenden Tanne während des Sturms begraben und der andere konnte einer heftigen Begegnung mit einem Auto nicht standhalten.
