City of Kapfenberg – the Littershark as a visual highlight of the city
The creation of a new pedestrian zone in the Austrian city of Kapfenberg prompted the municipality to rethink its waste management system. The old bins were to be replaced with new ones that would blend perfectly into the modern image of the city centre around the FH JOANNEUM university of applied sciences. The challenge: the sloping paving, which makes it difficult for bins to stand securely, and the desire for a sleek stainless-steel design to match the flower planters and bicycle stands used in the area. But meeting these needs was no problem for the Littershark!
